Dr Stephen D Barker. The Practice operates under the supervision of Dr Stephen Barker. Dr Barker is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Ontario and is on the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. Stephen Barker (Ph.D., C. Psych.) has worked in a variety of educational and clinical settings over the past 30 years. He provides psychological, psycho-educational and vocational assessments, parenting programs and individual therapy. Dr Barker focuses on finding solutions.

Elise Ditner (M.A.Sc.) has over 20 years of experience providing psychoeducational assessments and support to elementary and secondary students and families (e.g., ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, etc.). Using a combination of assessment and consultative skills, Elise goes beyond the diagnosis to help the family and school understand identified processing difficulties and to develop strategies to enhance day-to-day functioning (e.g., learning, organization, memory, social relations, behavioral adjustment, etc.). Elise is also a qualified Cogmed coach.

Candice Rymal is a Certified Teacher in the province of Ontario. She is a Reading Specialist and has worked in a variety of clinical and educational settings over the past 15 years. Candice has an extensive background working with children and teens with autism and ADHD and she is certified in Direct Instruction. Candice is also certified as a Cogmed coach and has been supporting children in this program for a year. |

HEATHER LAWRENCE M.S.W., RSW
Heather has been working therapeutically with children and adults for over 20 years. Her clinical experience is broad in scope and she uses multiple interventions including attachment therapies, cognitive behavioural therapy and EMDR. As well Heather has knowledge and expertise in providing therapy for clients in the areas of adoption and foster care. |
Candice Hamilton-Miller (B.A. Hons. MSc.) has worked with children and families for over 14 years, both here in Canada and abroad in South Africa. Through various roles in the social service sector over the years, Candice has worked with children with special needs, including Autism and Speech and Language problems. She has also worked with families new to Canada and families dealing with Mental Health concerns including Depression, Anxiety and ADHD. She has also completed various training courses in Play Therapy, Family Therapy and Sex Therapy. Candice is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists; the Canadian Association for Child and Play Therapy and the Ontario and American Associations for Marriage and Family Therapy.
